Shipping, Returns & Privacy Policy

Shipping:

At Appelt’s Diamonds, we want to ensure your shopping experience is as simple as possible.  That is why we are pleased to offer you two ways to receive your purchase.

 

Pick up at Appelt’s

Choose to have your order shipped direct to an Appelt’s Diamonds closest to you and we will cover all the shipping charges. When you pick up your order in the store, one of our sales associate will be available and happy to answer any questions you may have.

 

Delivery to your Door:

Have your order shipped directly to your door. For your peace of mind, orders over $1000 require a signature upon delivery no exceptions.

 

Once you input your shipping address we will automatically calculate the cost of shipping. We will provide you several options to suit your needs. We are happy to provide free shipping to all orders over $99. FedEx is our shipping provider as we are confident your package will arrive on time & in perfect condition. To add an extra peace of mind, select the $4 signature required option to ensure your package does not get left on you door step.

Shipping rates and methods are dependant on the shipping method you select:

  • Standard: FedEx Ground Shipping 1-7 business days (excluding weekend & holidays) - Free
  • Shipping calculator available at checkout for other shipping options.

 

Please note we offer complimentary standard shipping on all orders over $99 or picked up at any of our 4 locations

 

Order Processing Times:

For in stock items, processing time will be approximately 2-3 business days. You will be notified when the item is processed & ready to be shipped. For all special orders, we will contact you within 2-3 business days after placing the order to advise you with specific details on your orders (i.e. wait time).

All orders are subject to availability and credit authentication. During sale and holiday periods, additional processing time may be required.

Shipping Restrictions:

  • We currently only ship within Canada.
  • Please allow additional time for orders shipped to Rural Addresses.

 

Additional Shipping Information:

  • Orders must be received and clear credit authorization by 11:00 am Central time for your order to be processed. If your order is received after 11:00 am we will process it the following business day. Most packages leave our distribution centre within 2-3 business days. Exceptions include customized orders, special orders, advanced order items, out of stock items, or items that require ring sizing.
  • Signature is required upon delivery of any package valued at $1000 or more for your protection and peace of mind. A $4.00 fee will be added onto your order.  FedEx will attempt to deliver 3 business days in a row before returning the package.
  • We only ship to one address per order.
  • Please make sure your shipping address is correct - we cannot redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

 

Returns:

We want you to be 100% completely satisfied with your Appelt's Diamonds purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange or refund the item within 30 days of the purchase date. Simply bring your merchandise back in its unaltered, original condition with the original receipt and packaging. To return an online purchase, please email onlineorders@appelts.ca to request a return authentication number which will allow you to ship back or return in store. Please note, you will be responsible for return shipping costs when using FedEx.

 

Getting engaged is one of the most exciting and important decisions of your life.  At Appelt's Diamonds we want to make your engagement easier and therefore all Engagement rings can be returned within 90 days of the purchase date. *Fees may apply.

Merchandise that has been special ordered can be returned within the 90 day but will include a restocking fee of 35%. Customized or modified merchandise including engraved items cannot be returned or exchanged. All diamond certificates, warranties, special documentation, care cloths or jewellery cleaners must accompany any return or a regular retail fee will apply on each item.

Refunds will be made in the same manner in which payment was made at the time of purchase.  Returns over $5,000 or items originally purchased by cash in excess of $200, a cheque will be issued from our head office within 7 days of the return.

 

For a return to be accepted, original packaging and proof of purchase (receipt) is required at the time of the return.
